Jacob did great in our annual AC check. He carefully explained everything and was very thorough in making sure his equipment correctly diagnosed any problems. Jacob is one of the reasons we keep going back to Mattex for all our HVAC needs.

Josh did a great job. He took care of the job in no time. Josh was professional, friendly, and ready to answer any questions I had. He is definitely an asset to Mattex.

I was very happy with the work done by Mattex. Their staff was personable, careful, knowledgeable, and professional. Work was completed without issue and when they left, they left a complete system, a clean house, and exactly the system that was bid. Also, multiple follow-up maintenance visits over the last two years have been equally good experiences.

We had regular maintenance done. We learned that additional work would need to be done. They are always responsive to us and I appreciate the attention to detail and how things are explained to us. We had a great experience! 1/22/26 We had some work done on our furnace. We were without heat. We have had different techs working together to determine the problem, everyone was great. A circuit breaker tripped and would not reset. Chris Latham diagnosed the issue (defective circuit breaker) and replaced it. He also checked all the other circuit breakers. A relay in our heating system was not operating properly, and he replaced it (fortunately having the replacement part available on his van). I am satisfied with the service provided. This review is for Tyler Parker on 2/23/2022. The boiler temperature sensor had fallen off and the heating system was not working. Tyler diagnosed and fixed the problem. I am satisfied with the service provided. This review is for Justin Pearsall on 9/30/22. The gasket/seal under a toilet had cracked, leading to water seeping on to the floor. Justin and his helper removed the toilet, replaced the gasket, and re-installed the toilet. As usual, the work done was fine. The only (minor) complaint that I have is that the packaging material for the gasket should have been picked up and taken away for discarding instead of being left on the floor of the bathroom. In over 20 years of Mattex service, this has been the first time ever that such a thing has happened. This review is for Clinton Dieu who did routine maintenance on out three AC units on 6/15/2023, and also replaced some wires in one AC uint where a mouse had chewed through the insulation. The kitchen faucet needed a cartridge replacement (which he had to go and get since he didn't have it on his truck) and the whole repair took just a few minutes. This review is for Eli Tincher and Peyton Goad on 5/10/2024 who determined the cause of the boiler leak, put in a temporary seal, and then special-ordered the parts that need to be replaced. I am satisfied with the service provided. This review is for Matt Linsner who worked on our boiler on 12/1/2024, cleaning out the condensate drain which was blocked and re-starting the boiler. I wish he had had the time to also do the annual heating system maintenance as well, which Mattex is scheduled to do on 12/3/2024. I am satisfied with the service provided. This review is for Demarco Hendricks who came on 6/30/2025 (one day before the scheduled annual service!) to fix our downstairs air conditioner unit which was not cooling the house at all. The problem was a blown capacitor which Demarco and his associate replaced, and the air-conditioner started cooling the house immediately (though it took about 12 hours to get the temperature downstairs to a comfortable level). I am happy with the service provided. This review is for Ethan Cenzano who did routine service of our air conditioners for Summer 2025 on 7/1/2025.. I am satisfied with the service provided. This review is for Ethan,Cenzano who replaced the condenser and starter relay for our upstairs air-conditioning unit. He also replaced a couple of corroded wires and rechecked the coolant charge. I am happy with the service provided. This review is for Demarco Hendricks who did routine service of my boiler on November 14, 2025 and came back again on November 17 for warranty service on the boiler (one of the drain valves had not been re-tightened enough and the leak created a huge puddle on the utility room floor). Demarco tightened the valve, cleaned up the water on the floor and waited for quite some time to make sure that there was no more leakage. I am happy with the service provided and the prompt resolution of the leak problem.

He was very informative about some other problems I am considering having repaired. 11/27/2024 - Thomaz did a great job when he serviced my generator. 10/14/2024 - Ethan serviced my furnace for Winter. He was very thorough and friendly. 03/06/2024 - Clint did a wonderful job, he was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. 11/07/2023 - Rowan deliver the special filters Mattex ordered for me to fit the air cleaner I previously bought from them. 10/24/2023 - Jon was very friendly and thorough. 08/25/2023 - Thomaz was great, after running a lot of diagnostics he found the problem. I learned a lot about how it works. 07/24/2023 - Payton worked hard to even out my dual air conditioning circulation. He found settings in my thermostats and HVAC that were working against each other. 06/29/2023 - Josh did a great job fixing my generator, he turned a switch to on. The problem was that when Alex did the yearly service in November he forgot to turn the switch back on. So today when the electricity went out my generator ran, but it was not turned on to connect to my house’s electricity. Josh did not charge me. 04/13/2022 - Tyler checked and cleaned my air conditioner to make sure it would be ready for the hot weather. 07/23/2021 - Tyler fixed a problem I had with the sump pump triggering my sump pump alarm. Ed installed my new sink, faucet, garbage disposal, & dishwasher. He also repaired the faucet in my laundry room, other people said I would have to replace it (it was discontinued, I wasn’t looking forward to researching a new faucet). Chris stopped by to get information about my house for a possible generator. He was very careful about making sure I understand the price range and the labor involved in installing a generator. As an extra bonus he reviewed how the remote control for my heat pump in my sunroom worked. **My new generator is working great!** Jamie and Nick installed my new heater and air conditioner. This was during COVID-19, they were very respectful about wearing masks and social distancing. I forgot the name of the guy who installed my new hot water heater, he also wore a mask and did social distancing. Now that my house has all new appliances I will call Mattex to maintain them. Hopefully they will be the last I will have to buy! Joe has done a good job on my seasonal maintenance. He is friendly and explains what he’s doing when I ask. A great problem solver.
