Carmelo was great to work with! After evaluating my HVAC drainage situation he took the time to reroute my drain pipe and installed a new sensor and drain pan. His knowledge and expertise got my drainage situation back under control in less than an hour. We recently had an issue with the mini split unit in our shop a few nights ago when it suddenly stopped cooling and was only circulating hot air. Since we use the shop for regular workouts, and the temp had climbed to 90+ degrees, we were sweating more than usual and it was very uncomfortable. I called 1st Choice the next morning and Carmelo was dispatched the same day. He immediately determined the issue and was able to get us up and running again. Highly recommend this company & all of their technicians. They always provide top notch customer service & do a great job!

They came out as a 2nd opinion to a company that was working with my home warranty company. The first company did an okay job, but we just felt like there might have been some self-serving decisions that were made. We were referred to 1st Choice Air Solutions as a separate company to get a look at our unit to make sure all was on the up-and-up. Not only was Alan, the technician, extremely thorough, but he was quick and very friendly. He verified some of the things that were said by the original company and found even an additional (minor) thing that the first company did not. We have to go through the company that serves our warranty, but you can SURE bet I will be keeping their contact information for next time and shouting them from the roof. An actual honest AC company who is serving customers, not just collecting checks. If this unit cannot be fixed, I know who my next call is. Special shout-out to the people on the phones like Thomas who helped with the pre-visit stuff as well. UPDATE: The unit could not be fixed After it was determined that we wanted to go with a new unit, I of course went through the process with 1st Choice. I talked with David Pool who spent a lot of time with me talking through what he and his company do. At first I was a bit taken back by the price, but that is because I never had to replace a unit before. I did some shopping around and it was actually on point to the competition. It was not the cheapest, but they did things others said they would not do. They replaced the breaker, all the wires to the unit and even replaced the concrete the old one sat on. Installation took only 2 days and he was ready to install it that same week. We also opted for their service for Duct replacement due to the age of our unit and seeing the before and after was actually very impressive. Not only was David great, but the people on the phone like Thomas and those that did the installation were top notch. To end this in a gimmicky way... there are lots of AC companies out there... but they will always be my.... 1st Choice. UPDATE 2: We had the come out and re-balance a few months ago (before summer came in hot as usual) and they did move a couple of things and made it slightly better. This was a free service they did which was great! However, when Summer came, it was not working like we had hoped. I called them last week and asked if they could come out again because certain rooms I was sweating in (small room, with windows, and electronics). They came out and examined everything. It was a new person (Taylor Bullard) who looked at everything and told us he was not happy with the way they installed our system. He came back out with a group of guys (Patrick Nishimwe and Eli) who ripped out the old box and re-ran the ducts. All at no extra cost to us. I am a hot sleeper and this was the first night that I have had to sleep with the comforter on in a long time in the summer. In short, honest guys who do excellent work.

A full accessment was performed and we were informed of all the issues, shown pictures of them, educated on our system setup, and offered both reactive and proactive solutions.
