7/9/2025 I had two outlets that stopped working. One of them is where my a/c was plugged in. Dave Diehl was my electrician this morning. Dave was very nice, great at explaining what was going on, and why. He also edited some labels on my electric panel that was extremely helpful. I was given two quotes, and Dave took the time to explain the quotes so I could decide what worked for me. 6/10/2025 Maintenance check by Gary Chafetz. Gary is personable, patient, and easy to talk to. I had some questions about my sump pump, and he was able to answer my concerns. Through our conversation, he gave me very good advice concerning my dehumidifier which was really helpful. I'm trying to dry out my basement after some flooding, so I was grateful for the info that I should've known. 2/7/2024 Maintenance check done by Ethan Brown and his partner. Both were courteous, respectful, and professional. 3/17/202323 As discussed a few weeks ago, Jimmy Collins returned to install a light fixture in my livingroom. I'm very pleased with it. Thanks Jimmy and Mel Carr Electric. 3/7/2023 Had an inspection of outlets, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and electrical panel. Jimmy Collins was the technician today. Had the same experience as I've had with previous Mel Carr technicians. Jimmy was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable concerning some work I'd like done in the near future. 12/14/2022 Hired Mel Carr Electric to replace my electrical panel that was old, and needed to be replaced. Zach and Brock showed up first thing in the morning. Zach was considerate enough to ask if I was ready for the electric to be shut off, and got to work. I am pleased with the outcome. 11/29/2022 After hiring Mel Carr Electric for my daughter's house months ago, this week I was in need of an electrician, so I called Mel Carr. I woke up Thanksgiving to no power in my bedroom and diningroom. Called Mel Carr on Monday, Zach came Tuesday. Zach was professional and courteous. He explained the issue clearly and patiently. He found the issue, got the power up and running. Zach also pointed out that the electrical panel needed updating, which I knew would be an issue some day. Mel Carr Electric will be updating it for me next month. I'm grateful for Zach, and Mel Carr Electric. Thank you! I hired Mel Carr Electric for an issue in my daughter's house. Gary Chafetz and Josh showed up within the window of time I was given. They both were very pleasant and courteous. They got right into the job. Gary explained the issue, options for the issue, and took care of it. I was very pleased, and whenever I'm in need of an electrician for my home, I will not hesitate to call Mel Carr Electric.

Dave Diehl was a very pleasant and professional electrician. He took care of our electricial issue and installed a whole home surge suppressor to protect our home against a surge in power after a blackout, which could destroy our valuable appliances. Thank you! Al Kolakowski and Kathryn Dell

Justin from Mel-Carr was great! He was straightforward and nice, not salesy or pushy for extra work at all. He walked me through several different options and explained the benefits of each. When he came out to do the work, he let me know when he was on his way, got the job done quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up any debris left behind. All in all, 10/10, would highly recommend Mel-Carr and their techs!

Great service! Dave was thorough. Took his time and listened to our concerns and goals as homeowners and gave us options. Prepared thorough options and explanations and aligned our goals with Mel Carr's services/costs. He definitely allowed us to come to a plan to upgrade and improve our home's electrical system including a new generator!

Gary came out to our home, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He figured out the best plan to do the work we wanted, and claned up he went along. Most notably he put plastic covers on his shoes. Great Job! 5 stars.

The Mel Carr electrician, Ethan and assistant Brittany assigned to the project at our home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 were both extremely professional, competent, punctual, courteous and excellent representatives of your company. We had informed the scheduler that we had to attend a 100th year old’s birthday party early Tuesday evening and we appreciated how accommodating everyone was in postponing the remaining work until Wednesday. Ethan arrived promptly Wednesday morning and proceeded to finish up the project, on his own because Brittany had been assigned to another project. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the explanations Ethan gave of the project. We will gladly consider your company for any future needs.

Ethan Brown and Kevin completed a number of projects for us and we were most pleased with their promptness, their professionalism and their pleasant, friendly and positive attitude. They installed a bathroom light/ceiling fan installed an exterior outlet, redid 4 kitchen outlets and did major replacements in the main breaker box. I highly recommend them.

Gary and his assistant were amazing! Very professional, courteous and fast. They restored my power quickly and went above and beyond their duties to help clean up water in my basement from the sump pump having no power. This is the second time I’ve used their services and I will be a long term (but hopefully infrequent ) customer.
