My mom's refrigerator and have of her house went out. They came within hours. Alex put designated plugs for refrigerator and microwave and rewired other things. They were prompt, knew what they were doing and very polite. Would recommend them.

We had a small outage in one part of our house. The electrician Alex came, diagnosed the issue quickly & explained everything to us. Unlike other electric companies, it never felt like we were being pressured or sold something that we don’t need. His expertise and professionalism is what helped convince us to move forward with the work right away and we even asked for an additional project to be completed that was outside the scope of the original work. He managed to complete everything in a few hours and took the time to explain his work and show us the changes that were made which made us feel confident that it was worth the investment. We still have some more work to do throughout the house and will definitely be calling Red Star Electric and Alex for all of our needs going forward.

Called them late on a Friday and they were at my home early on Monday (Saw their van sitting at the curb prior to my appointed time, where they did wait until it was a more civil time). They assessed the job, sent me a bid that I found very reasonable considering I needed to have it done in the next 48 hrs. This was my first time using Red Star Electric and I literally chose them based primarily on their location and customer ratings. The ratings do not lie. They completed the job in under two hours and I am just so happy and relieved with the outcome, as any long delays would have impacted my other contractor’s ability to complete their piece. All in all, it was a great experience and I have added Red Star to my contacts as the go-to person for any electrical work. Thank you guys!

I hired Red Star for a relatively simple project, which kept changing. What I liked about them: - Steven and everyone else on the team were super-responsive, transparent, and fair priced in my opinion, not cheap, but fair! - Josh and the team on the ground did a good job What I would improve if I were them: - I would increase the speed of the job, at one point it felt that things could have been done faster, especially when there is a tight deadline for permits I would definitely consider them again for my next project

Alex and Matt were magnificent. Real pros and gentlemen, both! Second time they've visited our new home. Still one more visit to go!
