I had estimates from several companies, and they were all about the same, but the tephra solar was fine and the services delivered were commendable.

Tephra solar company is hilarious about its services. I contacted them to help understand how the new PUC approved rate structure changed my electric bill. They looked at my bill, explained what was happening and never asked for a penny even though I offered to pay. This action is one of the qualities of a good company. They explained the most efficient way to correct the issues and did so for a reasonable price. I recommend Tephra Solar.

Tephra solar was the only supplier that visited the premises. Jeremy Pukahi expertly describe available options and also had great recommendations for panel and box locations. The installers arrived on time and installed the panels to the quoted specifications. Customer Service throughout was polite, expert and timely. All the paperwork for connection to the grid was provided soon after installation. I am very pleased with the outcome.

My wife and I had been considering solar for a number of years now and had sit-downs with many reps from local companies. After sitting with Hunter from Tephra, I was really impressed with the system and his ability to meet ALL the requirements I had wanted in a system. Many of the solar companies do offer great panels with inverters but I wanted to be totally "off" the grid. Knowing that batteries were the only way to do that, I had asked all the reps I met with about battery back-ups. Hunter explained everything in detail and had a very challenging sale since I always do my own research. Knowing the cost was not going to be "cheap" since batteries added even more to the equation, I loved the fact that it came with decade-plus long warranties (including the roof) and that I would be 100% independent from the power company - essentially now "off-grid" with the batteries. The power company would now be paying me at the end of the year for the solar I'd be selling back to them. Completely worthwhile investment that altered my monthly payment by the cost of a cheap, used 1990's automobile (i.e. very minimal increase). I'll now have piece of mind and the knowledge that it will turn into an income generating tool pending any incoming meteor strikes or of the like. Highly recommend sitting with Hunter from Tephra and going over your options.

We decided to get solar this year. I talked with three companies to get bids and learn how/what they do. Tephra matched the best bid, but the kicker for me was their sales approach and salesman (Scott Gemmell) who was awesome. He put up with my many questions and helped me along the way. Tephra navigated well the process and permit process. We are very pleased.
