Richard Richard was very thorough and gave good explanations of what he found and any recommendations. I’ve didn’t feel he was trying to sell us on anything we didn’t really need. We were impressed enough with his professionalism that we’ve decided to ditch our current HVAC company and go with AIS for the foreseeable future.
Richard This is the second time that a technician came to fix the furnace installation problem. The downstairs thermostats control is completely working fine now, including the fan-on only mode.
Art was very professional and informative. He listened to our needs and walked us through all the options available.
I had my HVAC system installed by AIS 7 years ago, and the system has worked perfectly since then. We had some issues with the cooling recently and they were able to send the service technician next day. Zack is experienced and knowledgeable, and he he friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend AIS if you need service for your HVAC system.
Eduardo Machain performed my yearly AC checK. Eduardo was fast, efficient, and polite. The AC passed inspection and is working great.
Leon came to do quality check. He made adjustments on furnace and filled in R410A refrigerant fluid, replacing circuit breaker. He is friendly and did a good job.
Pete was thorough and quick, got our furnace up and running, and answered all of my questions. I appreciate his friendly service and his professionalism.
5 stars across the board for AIS in Livermore. During our bi-annual maintenance with AIS Pete was extremely thorough & professional sharing the news that our old systems were officially old enough that they needed to be replaced. Art did our consultation and helped us choose which systems to upgrade to. He was very fair and genuine with his recommendations, it did not feel at all like a "high pressure" sales experience at all. Rafael and Edgar completed our install and were very courteous and took great care to ensure the cleanliness of our brand new white carpets & taught me how to use our new thermostat. Leon did our post install quality inspection and was very friendly answering all my questions about how everything was working. Everyone arrived on time as scheduled. Our new furnace and AC unit are wonderful and are so quiet that we have to get used to hearing if they are "on" or not. All 5 employees that came to our house were friendly and professional and give me great confidence that the work they performed was top notch.
I have been dealing with AIS Heating and Air Conditioning for the past year. Each time they come out, every tech is super professional and knowledgeable. They direct us and inform us of things that are issues as well things that could be issues in the future. They aren’t “pushy” and just trying to make a sale. You can tell that they really care about making sure everything is running smoothly.
3/25/25- Spring AC tuneup today. Everything looks great. Added AC compressor capacitor to reduce start up current and extend life. Also treated us to a Respicaire Quad Pro ionization purifier which among other things, will eliminate potential mold spores in the AC unit. Met another awesome AIS expert technician Zack Taylor. He patiently walked me through the inspections he would perform and options to safeguard the system. Then showed me all the test results. Amazing! I have full trust in the AIS family! 10/28/24 - I’ve been so impressed with AIS the past couple of years, when I heard they also install water heaters, I asked for an estimate. I was surprised to receive the quote from AIS owner David Sojkic! The personal touch like this affirms my trust in this company. I am confident that their expertise also extends to water heaters too. I’m hoping to push the GO button on this project in the near future. Thank you Mr. Sojkic! 10/25/24 - Just had my fall furnace scheduled checkup by Mr. Sergio 2.0! Burners, PC Boards, filter, etc. were all checked and cleaned. He even shined up my thermostat electrode! A very thorough job. I’m completely satisfied that this annual maintenance contract is a great investment. I highly recommend it. AND it’s a complete pleasure to see Mr. Sergio once again. 4/26/24- This is my scheduled spring AC checkup. Met Sergio 2.0! Friendly, efficient and informative as I have grown to expect from AIS. I’m happy to see that the young AIS staff continues the tradition of quality care! 11/8/23 - I had my scheduled winter furnace checkup. Sergio Sanchez was efficient, knowledgeable and polite. I continue to be impressed with the AIS family! 4/13/23 Update - Today I received my complimentary first year inspection. I was privileged to meet Mauricio, another of the outstanding AIS family! He thoroughly inspected and tested my system and provided added tweaks. Per our discussions, I requested a surge protector which I would have overlooked had he not mentioned it. Our recent windstorm caused a massive power outage, on consequent line surges when power was restored. I also signed up for annual maintenance to ensure my system continued to perform well. I was so impressed with Mauricio’s depth and breadth of knowledge. I will continue to recommend AIS to all my family and friends. 4/2022. My 40+ year old furnace was due for replacement but COVID kept me from wanting folks in my home for the past two years. As infection declined I casually looked around for reputable HVAC installers until I came upon AIS Heating and Air Conditioning through NextDoor. Many neighbors I consider reliable raved about this local family owned company. That was the clincher. I called for an appointment and met Candus a few days later for a quote. I was worried about the timing of the installation but Candus and even the owner, Daniel Sojkic pulled out all the stops to install before my daughter gave birth. AIS FINISHED THE JOB IN ONE DAY! I couldn’t believe it! This was a new furnace AND AC! And the job was done perfectly with the highest craftsmanship and professionalism. Plus the Super Crew: Rafael, Juan and Gil were so friendly and polite. Like family! I would highly recommend AIS, and I already have!
Gabe arrived as scheduled and explained what he would be doing. He came back with a thorough report of his finding and offered recommendations for the AC unit and compressor. He performed a check of the air flow indoors. He was very friendly and efficient!
I just received excellent service from Taylor, who completed my first year complementary inspection. Just like my installation team, he was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Another excellent job by AIS.

Miller's ended up ghosting me after failing to answer several basic questions about the system I was interested in (like price, comparing two different systems, etc.). I went with AIS in Fremont and they did an amazing job at removing and replacing our 1965 era ductwork and 1980s era AC and gas furnace with a modern heat pump and gas furnace. I highly recommend them.
Extremely professional and polite employees, including the office staff and the technicians. Also, the technicians clearly explain what they have done, and if anything else needs attention. It’s very easy to get an appointment with them as well.
They gave me a great price, put in equipment that is rated highly, especially my new pure air unit from Lennox that keeps my house super clean. Everything else is Bryant but the air scrubber is not. Highly recommend the company and their products. I also utilize their maintenance program so every yr they check everything out and make sure I am running perfectly. They also change my filters when needed.
The whole house breaker pops? Not just the one feeding the AC? That's not good. I'd say your first call should be to an AC company like AIS in Fremont (they just redid the heating and cooling in my house and are excellent and very fairly priced). They'll be able to check to see that the AC is running as expected (or not, as the case may be). Hopefully they'd be able to identify and repair the fault. If not, an electrician would be a good second call. I've heard good things about Voltz in Livermore but haven't had any person experience.
AIS is an excellent resource for heating and air conditioning. I've used them many times and will do so again.
We just had our entire system done by AIS in Fremont. They came recommended by a neighbor. I am very fussy about anything construction and the unit is amazing. They carry both Bryant and Lennox. We chose the Bryant because of the latest reviews. While we just retired a 25 yr old Lennox.we chose Bryant given current reviews and the added bonus was the Dollar difference.. The estimator is a neighbor also and lives in the SHPNA area. Ray did a great job and for what we got the price was right. We even went for the extra fancy hospital grade air purifier. It has 4" regular filter, plus 4 more of carbon fiber and a UV light system. Never had that kind of filtration although for the average house their 4" (rather than a little one inch filter) is adequeate. After this yrs allergies and as we age we decided to go heavy duty. Several people will come out (all for free) but I would stick with Ray. We went also with a two stage heater and ac which is more for the $ but overall saves you money in the end as if you only need a little heat or cooling the unit runs on the lower setting. We had several recommend companies out and the variance in price was as much as $5500 and that was without the fancy air. We have a two story and needed duct work so ours was higher than average anyway. During installation they sealed all the ducts etc with two stages of tape and a special compound that becomes harder than when initially used but assures a constant seal. Old person never did that.
