My mother was very pleased relaxed and enjoyed being there I think this is one of the best Alden places in huntley of all of their Alden places and one of the nicest and cleanest and respectable one out of the ones that I visit for my mother to go in
My mom was at Alden of Huntley for twenty days. During her stay she was treated with respect and given professional care from the nursing staff and the therapy staff. My only major concern was that it took 10 days for the medical personnel to address the issue of fluid retention in her legs and feet. I voiced my concern on the day after she was admitted and she was not put on medication until 10 days later. It would have been nice if someone from PT or OT had spent a few minutes with the family members to show them the best way to transfer her from a wheelchair into the car. It would be nice if there would be a comfortable chair in the room for the patient to sit in. Spending the day in bed or a wheelchair is not ideal. Overall experience was great
Seemed understaffed and my mother wasn’t showered/hair washed as much as she should have. My sister did it at one point as it had been over a week. Food was very good she thought. Food service was very nice. Transport service was horrible as my Mom had to go to Hospital Thanksgiving night for a blood clot. She was stuck in the van as lift broke in the middle of the night and In the freezing cold and it set her back several days. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Nice facility, but need more staff. Day they left no one would help my sister get the wheelchair in her car and she ended up hurting her back.
my son was in the hospital and he lost his strength. they did wonderful physical therapy and occupational therapy. The OT was very nice to him and cared about his needs. He still have some work to do, now at home. But they got him in the right direction. thank you
Be very very honest they were outstanding very very helpful they treated my mom fully respect , All the staff there are wonderful. The entire staff at Alden were amazing. They treated my mom with respect and gave her top notch care. From the nurses to the therapist and the front desk everyone was amazing. As family you were updated and never in the dark about next steps.
The staff did an outstanding job. Always friendly, caring for the residents with respect and kindness. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping kept everything in tip top shape. The food was like eating in a restaurant. Very tasty and presented more like in a hotel than a rehab facility.
My stay at Alden estates of huntley was great. The staff is incredible. From the dining room staff to the room staff everyone was so kind and knowledgable caring.

I have only Great things to say about Alden. My father received amazing care while he was at Alden. It is beautiful and clean. The staff is like no other. Most importantly they are loving and kind to the residents and their families. I would highly recommend them.
The staff gave great care to my mom and answered my questions re her care with detail. The operations are efficient with one exception I know management is working on, and that is reception help at night and the weekends. It was difficult and frustrating trying to reach either the patient or a staff member during those hours. Gaby, Manessa and Marisol in particular were extremely responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for taking care of my mom!
