My cousin had used Home Inspection Gurus in the past and he came highly recommended since his work is quite thorough. We had Adnan from Home Inspections Guru come inspect a one family house from attic to basement, including the garage. He arrived earlier than our scheduled time to do work and already spent 15 minutes inspecting exterior and gave us a quick rundown. He spent a good amount of time in each area of the house and did not seem a bit annoyed about my constant questions. I liked the fact that he was a former engineer and is also an investment property owner and would often give me advice on what he would do or has done to help modernize a home, save money, or considerations for home projects that are worthwhile, (I.e. Electric tankless water heater). I like the reports that are put together describing all of the details and assessing the risks. I would highly recommend these guys.
First time ever using a home inspector, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Scheduling and communication leading up to the inspection was easy and accommodating, and then Adnan put a lot of care and effort not just for the report but explaining when I had questions, too, in real time. He did a full, thorough inspection, but also tailored to the specific circumstances of the property; he even offered to follow up on a few things that went beyond the scope I expected.
