Preparing a list of awesome comments from our customers!
SM Air is always on time and addresses our A/C issues efficiently and affordably. Curtis showed up with a smiling face, friendly attitude and ready to solve our issue, which he did! Thank you for the continued excellent service!
Curtis did a great job replacing the fan motor and fan blade that James diagnosed. It's now working really well and cooling better than ever! Cost was $1039 and also using a $50 flyer discount. He completed it in about and hour and a half. He was friendly and knowledgeable and I would use them again.
Sm Air always does a fantastic job! I can always count on them to be on time, to communicate professionally, and to provide excellent service! Thank you, Jarred, you did a great job today!!!
David did a fantastic job. The technicians were very professional. They completed the job within 3 hours. I certainly recommend San Marcos Air for your A/C &Heating needs.
Thank you for giving The Salvation Army a great new air system! We appreciate your professionalism and expertise!
Curtis was punctual and friendly. He did the maintenance to our hvac system to keep it operating efficiently.
Curtis kept me updated of everything he was doing. When testing the replaced capacitor he came across another problem with our wiring. Which in the end also had to be replaced because if it hadn't it could've caught on fire or exploded. Then would've cost us more more to fix or possible even replace the whole A/C unit. Curtis was very thorough and I appreciate that.
I really appreciate everything about my interaction to date from the professionalism and thoroughness the interaction to the communication process with both Cece and Jarred. Thank you!
James has been here before. Remimberd Chloe, our dog. She likes him so we do too. He recalibrated our thermostat. And showed us how if we ever need it again.
as usual james is thorough and explains issues very well. Its always a please to have him out here.
I despise service guys that come to sell. I understand fully that selling more/making more $$ is ideal, but service should be the overarching ideal. James positioned himself in this manner. Adviced agnostically per options, but made clear the tech situ I encountered. Bottom line = consultative selling is the best and he did it.
Jarred was outstanding! Super smart guy who obviously knew what he was doing and was also able to explain it to me. Kuddos to him for a job well done. Thanks SM Air & Heat!
Just had our A?C installed by a great crew. All the guys were cordial, knowledgable and professional. The price quoted was what it was. Our unit is purring like a kitten and cold as an ice house Thanx SM AIR.
I Highly recommend SM Air to everyone I come in contact with that has need of their services. They are always polite, professional and competent. On the rare occasions that I need them for other than regular scheduled service, they are prompt and treat me like I'm their only client. Peace of mind is a benefit the provide with their work. Thanks again.
We manage over 100 properties at 3Z Property Management and San Marcos Air is our go to company for all of our HVAC needs. They have fast response times, provide amazing customer service to our tenants, and provide the best prices for our owners. Many of our owners have also signed up with their preventative maintenance program that has been amazing at chatching issues before they become an expensive repair. We look forward to our continued partnership and truly appreciate San Marcos Air's professional services.
Outstanding customer service. Rick Gonzalez helped us in a personal and professional manner from start to finish. We are extremely satisfied and pleased to see our electric bill has gone down more than 50%.
Called at 4:30 PM on a A Friday and MR Capone was on site just after dark. He trace the problem to a $2.00 switch. Repaired and done in less than an hour. Thank You!! Will use again
I highly recommend San Marcos Air Conditioning. Service and pricing is the best. The customer service representative Cecelia is amazing. Check these guys out.
We had a home warranty and the company insisted on having A-US air conditioning out of Austin. A-US Air conditioner mis-diagnosed and even tried to charge us for things that they shouldn't have...like disposal of our coil...$175.00. A-US Air was going to charge us over $850.00 of non covered items to replace our coil and add freon. We later found out that companies actually get money for recycling the coil. I fired them and the home warranty company! San Marcos was awesome. Donny was on call and quickly diagnosed the problem. Trevor came out to do the work and was incredible. Both of these gentleman were professional and honest. They took the time to explain everything. They came and did the work today and the air conditioner works great. Here is the best part...it cost less than what A-US air conditioner + our home warranty coverage was going to charge us. The total cost of San Marcos Air Conditioner was $700.00. And it was fixed right the first time! The only thing I wish they had was a military discount, but I was completely and totally happy with their service. If I have any problems a with my heating or air conditioning, they will be the first people I call.
You guys were great! When our unit locked up after we purchased our house I called you guys based a referral from a friend. Lowest price, fast estimate, very personal service, and the ac is sooooo cold!!! Thank you so much. Cece...you rock!!!!!
Share review Embed review 1/2/2014 I only have good things to say about this company. Ray came out and replaced my thermostat at a reasonable price. When he was replacing the thermostat he told me that the wire for the heat pump defrosting was missing. I had read the install manual and looked at the wiring before I contacted them so I understood the problem. When we had freezing weather Ice formed on my heat pump so I decided I better get it fixed. When the technicians pulled new wires from my outside heat pump to the inside unit it went faster/easier than estimated. When Ray gave me the bill it was half of what I was quoted. Now how many companies do that? I was amazed... I strongly recommend using this company for your a/c needs!
Let's start off with the other guys. I called several (around 5) AC Service Contract Repair and found that most of them charge 65 to 75 dollars just to give an estimate (waved, if you used them, of course). Few would give a quote and if they did the estimate would be $100 to $200 above average. I called San Marcos Air and got a quote over the phone, to clean coils, service ac unit and replace secondary drip pan. The charges were explained that labor could be more depending what need to be done, all this was done on the second phone call. **** SIDE NOTE: If you are getting a new home, make sure the AC guys plumb the unit right. I will go as far to say that all spec home AC units are not installed properly. My friend and neighbors AC units seem to have problems around 5 years. They even made a drip pan for me, no extra charge going someplace to pick one up. That's a real plus. Luckily for me or the service man I did get to help lift the AC unit (with a come-a-long) and removed the rusty drain pan. Anyway, the technician Dang let me help, hang around, and he explained to me what he was doing and what was expected to happen. A small course in AC 1on1. I really do appreciate that, some technician seemed bother having the owner follow them, but not technician Dang. Five stars may be to much, it would be a strong 4 and I would settle for 4 and a half stars. The service and price was great, I would call them again if I need any questions answered. If you have any problems commercial or residential, give them a go. The only thing that I did not like is the acid bath they used to clean the coils, I would prefer alkaline solution instead, I believe that I have only four or six more years on this AC unit. Its was a new home cheapy. I plan to upgrade to a Lennox for better reliability.
