TL;DR: Working with your insurance on your behalf: Communication on site: Flexibility: Project handoff to project manager: We have worked with M.A. Restoration for two projects now. The first project was triggered by a rupture in our main drain line in our basement in the fall of 2021, not one month after our first child was born . They were recommended by our insurance claims representative, and they handled all of the communication out our insurance. In addition to the restoration, we also had them board up and plastering the walls and ceiling to create a simple habitable space for an office. This project was relatively straightforward, and it went very smoothly. Their facilitation of the insurance part of the process was invaluable. (We had independently sought a proposal from another contractor, who came in at a higher price point AND was not interested in tackling this part of the project.) Once M.A. Restoration and the insurance company agreed on how to make us whole, we set a start date for the project. They were very good about communicating when people would be in to work; what the next steps were; and what, if any, I needed to do to help move things along. The second project was precipitated (ha) by water leaking into the garage, directly below our bathroom. The investigation of the source of the leak and the restoration was covered by insurance. We determined the leak was caused by a crack in our tub and shower combo unit. Based on the price estimate for addressing only the affected parts of the bathroom, we decided to “upgrade” to a full bathroom renovation, and we signed the contract committing to the project in spring of 2024. As anyone who has done a bathroom renovation knows, there were a lot of decisions to be made in terms of design, storage, etc. My husband and I took a LONG time to make our decisions AND we had things come up that deprioritized this project, and M.A. Restoration was very patient during this gap in communication from our end. We resumed the project in December of 2024. By that time, my husband and I had picked out materials, etc., and had a designer render our bathroom so we could be confident in our choices. We circled back with our contact, who was an estimator, and clarified what things we would be buying, and what things M.A. Restoration would be buying and storing for us on our behalf. Once the items I ordered arrived, we set a start date for the renovation. Things initially went very well. As we got closer to completion, it became evident that M.A. Restoration had *not* bought the items that the estimator had agreed to, so I had to purchase them at the last minute. This caused a bit of a delay as we waited for things to arrive. This was incredibly frustrating. Nothing in the email chain with the estimator had gotten forwarded to the project manager. I started communicating with the project manager more directly, and he helped us navigate the last parts of the project. Over all, we’re happy with how the job was handled. They handled our design requests just fine, and walked us through a few decisions we hadn’t thought of. The communication gap we had was a learning experience — I know now that by then I should have looped in the project manager at that time. Despite the bumps in the road for the second project, I’m sure we’ll be working with them again: they’re competitively priced; they’re easy to talk to; they respond in a timely in a timely manner; and they’re flexible. And no doubt, something else will come up with this old house.
We brought M.A. Restoration into our home after a water damage situation. We are very satisfied the work accomplished and also their work ethics. A Big thank you to all. Job well done!

Matthew S. first spotted the mold growing in my attic and immediately grabbed his flashlight and examined the area to find exactly what was causing the mold problem. He recommended M.A. Restoration, as he works for the company. When Manny arrived to do the mold remediation he was on time and very professional. He lined my stairs with a drop cloth and kept my floors and rugs protected from any debris. He built a separate cleaning area and when the job was done, he cleaned everything thoroughly. I had water damage in two bathrooms. Bill and the MA Restoration team (remediation and construction) worked to reconstruction both bathrooms under demanding and stressful conditions. There were a number of project stops and starts that were beyond the team's control, but handled very well. Communication with Bill was top level. Great workmanship. Highly recommended.
Incredibly responsive when I had water leak from the washer dryer system. Within three hours an assessment was done, and mitigation was installed.
We had a major crisis after our hot water tank flooded the basement. MA Restoration responded quickly and is truly handling the situation. Communication has been clear. The company is making it as easy for us as possible. We really appreciate it.

Overall it was a wonderful experience. It’s very traumatic having an emergency and damage in your home and they made it much more worrisome and were incredibly responsible and professional. Manny really wanted to make sure we were happy with the work and didn’t have any questions. His attention to detail was incredible.

Steve did an excellent job repairing drywall from a previous plumbing leak. I can’t even tell where it was! He also sprayed for mold where we had the leak. Steve was prompt, courteous & professional. I would highly recommend MA Restoration!

I would highly recommend MA Restoration! In August 2023 we came home from vacation to pike burst in our basement. We have a split entry so this means one entire part of our house was now destroyed including my home office, bathroom, downstairs, and downstairs living room. Chris and Tim, responded to my husband right away and worked closely with my husband and our insurance to make sure repairs would be covered. Bill was our project manager. He was awesome coordinating the plumbers, electricians, smoothing things over with the building and electrical inspectors when we hit some major complications, organized the builders, painters, etc. Our basement had to be demo'd, mold remediation, rebuilt, and finished. Bill made sure we knew exactly who would be coming to the house on which days and the tasks they would be accomplishing. Julio and his demo team were fast and efficient taking everything apart. Larry was at our home almost daily working on the project. He demonstrated the utmost professionalism and expertise. The bathroom shower looks amazing, the drop ceiling came out great, he filled the random holes in the floor, and everything looks wonderful. Larry made sure to walk me through tasks that he had worked on during the day and took the time to explain any issues he may have come across offer very helpful suggestions. I highly recommend Larry for any project in your home! I would highly recommend this company if you have any repairs to your home or are looking to revamp things! We are so pleased and you all made this project very easy for us!
We had some minor water damage on our hardwood floors and Chris negotiated with our insurance company on a fair settlement and accommodated or request to refinish the floors while we were out of town. Our project manager Steve and his amazing team moved all of the furniture on our first floor ( including all of the appliances ) into our garage. They not only refinished the floors, but painted all of the baseboard, too. Everything was put back in their place after our return. Professional staff with attention to every detail!
