Ranny and Nick from the New England SteamWorks did a fantastic job with servicing my steam boiler. They replace my low water cut off, pressure knob, readjust the radiator position to help with the banging noice, and replace the valves. Their quality of services and great prices is amazing. Install looks awesome can already tell has helped my system greatly. Patrick was super kind and made me feel comfortable. Slight issue with a tiny drip after he left. Got right through to Ryan the owner who was able to contact Patrick who came back quickly and got it fixed right up. Now that's customer service!

Joe did a fantastic, thorough, professional job inspecting my steam system, flushing water, replacing vents with more robust vents, and explaining the trouble spots. He ran the boiler and stayed until all radiators were hot and vents closed. My system had been running rough and leaking water out the vents. My previous service company did not deal with the issues as thoroughly as Joe. I will be using NE SteamWorks from now on for my annual service. Thank you for a job well done. Nick was absolutely fantastic. Did a great job was very friendly and answered all my many questions. He patiently explained so much about steam heat, what to look out for and how to do maintenance. If you have steam heat I would highly recommend New England Steamworks for your maintenance and repairs. My only issue would be the email scheduling and how long it can take to hear back but I haven't tried calling so that may be quicker.
These guys are pros, and I trust them with my steam system. They're collaborative, competent, and I appreciate that they specialize in an area of plumbing that is keeping alive a 100-year old craft and my old steam system operating efficiently and reliably. I'm glad I found them and will continue to be a customer.
This company is worth every penny. I have an 80 year old steam system and it was running but not heating the house. 2 different heating companies had no idea how to troubleshoot my problem. One company actually made it worse. Ranny from Steamworks came and was completely knowledgeable about the system. He diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly. He stayed to ensure it was totally fixed and gave me suggestions on maintenance to prevent it from recurring. He was a true expert and very professional. I highly recommend and this will be my new go to company for my heating.

Patrick and Joe were fantastic, can not recommend enough if you have steam heat. Beyond knowledgable, professional, and very fair. If you have steam heat in eastern MA or RI, you need to use them.
The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable! During an initial visit an inspection they taught us about our steam system and even fixed a couple of issues with our current system. We’re excited to continue working with them to replace an existing radiator.

Ranny and Mike were so great - methodical and dedicated, we would like to see them return for this job if possible. Should they be in the area for another job, we offer them our pool after work to relax because they are extremely personable and knowledgeable hard workers. We felt like we have known them for years. Patrick & Rick provided service today, they faced a difficult challenge, and the first set of changes they made in our steam system did not eliminate the water hammer problems we were having. But they kept at it, analyzing the situation, experimenting with a combination of fixes, and eventually managed to solve the problem. We've now been through several complete heating cycles since they finished, and it's amazing how quiet the system is. The water hammer noises had been so loud that we had not been able to sleep in our bedroom for several months, and I won't be fully confident that they aren't going to return until we've had a complete 24 hours of operation. But my wife and I are moving back into our bedroom tonight, and we're (holding our breath, fingers crossed) absolutely delighted. THANK YOU. Patrick & Rick explained everything, answered my many questions, very polite, very professional. They were great.

I didn’t see any way (I’m old and not used to new fangled communication methods) to accept the attached quote for installation of insulation on my newly installed boiler. They refurbished every radiator in our home with a beautiful, high-gloss finish, and the results were stunning. They provided prompt responses to any questions we had along the way, and completed the reinstallation ahead of their guaranteed timeline. We highly recommend their work.
We recently had our massive first floor radiators stripped, repainted and reinstalled in our 160 year old Victorian. Patricks team from New England SteamWorks brought them from the shop and expertly maneuvered them into place. Some of these radiators weighed up to 600lbs! I would definitely hire New England SteamWorks again. The whole experience was polite, professional and worth every penny.

Technicians are prompt, professional,polite,friendly,knowledgeable and work hard during the visit. They also clean up before leaving and respectfully answer questions, even the ones that are asked in ignorance. They may not the least expensive, but they definitely professional and through.
Just had our boiler serviced by New England SteamWorks. Its the 2nd service they have done for us and we also had our steam pipes wrapped / insulated by them. We have been incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the technician teams and would highly recommend New England SteamWorks!
