Very happy with the service I received, maintenance of two boilers as well as some new gauges and new piping. I was bothering them with my curiosity the whole time they were working and they were helpful and informative about every step they were taking and about the functions of the devices. I certainly learned more from them than all of the online research I had attempted before. They also provided information for maintenance I can do myself, things to look out for, and recommendations for products. Can't think of anything they could have done better.

These guys deliver! Most recently, Patrick and Jovan installed a new steam boiler and all the near-boiler piping. Too hot to turn it on, so will have to wait for that. The biggest change was in seeing how much more involved the piping is after being designed and installed by steam-focused pros. Our last boiler was from before we bought the house and they made it work but were in a hurry and clearly not steam specialists. When it's done right all the variables are accounted for and it really shows. Looking at the job these guys did we feel like we've made not only an improvement to the heating system but a solid investment into the house. Great work. They left the job area clean. Just had a service call, Nick was right on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. It makes a big difference when you have a company that specializes in this type of heating system. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue but also took the time to identify and look at some other potential causes in order to be thorough. Again great service! Steam trap test rig installed to test cage units on my 2 pipe steam system. 1/3 of 10 year old steam traps were bad. What was scary was that almost 50% of the new in box replacements were faulty. New England Steamworks is experienced enough to suspect this and test brand new Barnes and Jones cage units before installing. Above and beyond knowledge and service. Second visit. All new cage units from different manufacturer worked out the box on the test rig. Steam traps finished. Looking forwards to final fine tuning and perhaps Horton vents on the steam mains. Not cheap but great value.
