Alden was amazing during my father's stay for rehabilitation from 2 hospital stays since the beginning of the year. The staff were incredible! His CNA's, Nurses and Physical Therapists truly helped my father during his time there. Management went above and beyond on making sure not only was my father getting the best care possible but that our family was taken care of during our time of need. Thank you Alden for being the best!
I have found the six weeks I have recently spent at Alden Estates Rehab of Long Grove have been very beneficial. I have gone to being flat on my back not being able to even sit up to walking without assistance with a walker. Although the facility is old and in need of a remodel, most of the people who took care of me were wonderful. CNAs like Rosa V could always predict and take care of my needs as well as brighten my day. And among others, Arturo Z worked so efficiently and always made me feel comfortable when tending to my most personal needs. The nursing staff were capable and in particular Mariya, made me feel like she really cared about my well being. The occupational therapist, Anna, was compassionate and encouraging and Sunny, my physical therapist was knowledgeable and motivating and both were the most important part of the progress I made at Alden. I thought the food was very good which was so important when having such an extended stay as I did. Upon my release Stephen coordinated everything I needed and handled all the details for my ‘after release’ care. I feel I had a very successful stay at Alden and would highly recommend it.
I am here long term now. I love all MY nurses. Monica and Yvette are great. I see them daily and always help me when I need help. They clean my room daily.
Sadly, our family was faced with great challenges. We had to put our mother into a nursing home during the transition process. We were not familiar with nursing homes because we never had the need for it, and to be honest, we were terrified to leave my mother there all by herself. From the moment we got to Alden, we were put at ease, all thanks to all the knowledgable stuff members, who cared for my mother so well and with so much care! Thanks to Alden, I was finally able to have a full night's rest, because I knew my mother was in good hands! Thank you all soooooo much, we are soooooo grateful for everything that you have done for my mother and our family!!!! Special thanks to these individuals in particular, who made a huge difference in my mother's care, our lives, and our hearts! Unfortunately, we had to put our mother into a nursing home when we were transitioning between hospital and hospice care. We never needed nursing home before, so we were pretty scared leaving her alone. But that all changed from the moment we got her here and until we took her home. That is all thanks to Alden Long Grove and their amazing staff members who made it all an easier transition for not only our mother but for our family! Old it might be but the people who work with your loved ones are fantastic and caring ! There are beautiful places but the care is not the same !!!
The administration and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. The nurses are very knowledgeable and there for you. All in all it's been a wonderful experience.
The staff, the nurses and management is very helpful and very nice. I have a window bed that has a great view to the greenery landscape. Food is actually good because most the time nursing home food is not that great. This is feels like home so far. It’s comfortable.
I am long term care here in the lower level. The food is good most of the time. I feel at home. The activity dept is like family. The management is always helpful whenever I need.
I love the food here. I love the gym and the staff. The staff actually care about you. The administrator yvette is great and always checks on me everyday when shes walking around. I love cesilia, she puts me on the bike and helps me.
The food is not good they need to get better quality food and prepare it to more home style cooking with favor and taste. Beside the food Aldens of Long Grove is the best place for rehab,
my son was in the hospital and he lost his strength. they did wonderful physical therapy and occupational therapy. The OT was very nice to him and cared about his needs. He still have some work to do, now at home. But they got him in the right direction. thank you

The entire staff at Alden were amazing. They treated my mom with respect and gave her top notch care. From the nurses to the therapist and the front desk everyone was amazing. As family you were updated and never in the dark about next steps.
The staff did an outstanding job. Always friendly, caring for the residents with respect and kindness. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping kept everything in tip top shape. The food was like eating in a restaurant. Very tasty and presented more like in a hotel than a rehab facility.
The staff was very kind, thoughtful, and understanding all the while meeting my husband's medical needs. Couldn't have been happier.
