I have been using AirRite services for almost 14 years because they are efficient, professional and fairly priced. I have been purchasing their service contract for my Chicago condo which includes a summer and winter HVAC checkup as that is the most attractive package. Most importantly, when you schedule an appointment a time slot is assigned to you and the technician is on time (often at the start of the window assigned) and I appreciate the call from technicians informing me they are en route. When one calls to schedule an appointment options are provided; and one is advised about the cost of onsite service calls when not included in one’s service contract, of course repair costs are separate line items (labor and parts). Leo, one of the technicians, has provided service to my unit a few times so he knows my HVAC unit and is friendly, professional and efficient. He possesses this professional friendliness and can explain technical issues in everyday language. I like when I am advised about possible items that need to be addressed when it is outside the service contract’s scope of work along with cost estimates so that I can budget for future service calls. I would highly recommend AirRite to customers because of their professionalism, competent staff and fair pricing. October 2025 Update: Leo continues to be absolutely superb and professional! Please note, purchasing an annual service contract along with continuity of service has worked out quite well for maintaining my HVAC system.
Steve, our repair person, was amazing! He was positive, thorough, helpful, and partnered with us regarding other key repair needs we had questions about. He always operates as a true partner in caring for our multi-unit building. No one enjoys heating or cooling challenges, but Steve always communicates clearly, and pursues the most long-term, cost effective solutions while reducing anxiety through his integrity and professionalism.
Service rep arrived during the scheduled time, worked quickly, answered all questions, and was friendly and courteous. Not much more you could ask for.
We have used Air Rite for our heating and cooling needs for over 30 years. I’ve never had a bad experience. We’ve used them for routine maintenance and repairs, spring and fall furnace and air conditioning checks, and replacement of furnaces and air conditioning units. Steve, the technician, arrived promptly and performed the furnace check quickly and efficiently. He was courteous and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He’s serviced our HVAC units before and is one of the best of the Air Rite techs.
Anthony called to let me know he would be here at 8:00 AM and arrived on time. He was very courteous, neat, and explained everything. My sister Ruth Ann appreciates Air-Rite scheduling the work on short notice while I was in town to help her.

Bruce had come by to provide me an estimate to replace the water heater flue. He did a great job explaining why I also needed a chimney liner, which I had suspected. He gave me an estimate for the work, which was significantly better than one I received from another company. And he set up the appointment for the work. The guys that did the work came promptly. I dealt with Andy who was very professional and courteous. The work was done in a couple of hours and looked good. Would definitely recommend them.

Terry Did a good job with annual maintenance. Was more expensive than other services but did an in depth job cleaning and servicing the unit.

Terry It is on a maintenance contract. It is $600 for the full maintenance period for a full year. They are pretty good. For quality, we haven't had any issues. They are very responsive. They are always ion time. They do what they say they do at the price they quote you. They deliver on what they promise.
