Ryan was so helpful and came out twice. The first was to see what was wrong with our heat pump and the next was to come to replace the part that was still under warranty. He was knowledgeable and answered other questions we had since we had just moved into the house. We really appreciated his honesty and help solving the issue.
Dave and Pedro did a very professional job of checking out my and my son's CWHA-installed systems this past week. Right on time and even a bit early (with an advance call). It is hard picking between contractors to do work on your home, first you are worried about price and quality, second you are worried about who is coming into your home and will they actually keep their deadline? Will they do good work or cut corners? I’m not a house flipper but in my life, I have been attracted to older homes that need restoration this is my 4th and hopefully last forever home. With this current home we have had contractors in our home for the last 2.5 years doing a lot of restoration work so by the time HVAC was being installed we were pretty thin and cranky. Central Washington Heating and Air takes the prize as one of our top 2 favorite contractor experiences. Potentially even our number one experience. We had an entire new furnace and heat pump system put in complete with duct work and new everything. From the bidding experience down to the final walk-through Jason was thorough, flexible and worked with me to investigate all potential options for the right package and solutions, he offered suggestions, listened to concerns, and was able to navigate these to provide a system and layout that I’m very happy with. The contractors that came in to do the work were led by Bill and if you have a chance to work with him you should. He was not only professional and friendly but his skill and absolute sense of ownership was obvious. He was able to coordinate and keep his crew on track and he came back on days off to review or fix issues he spotted in the work while being transparent with me each step of the way. It was obvious he did this out of care for providing a great product, it felt like he was installing a system in his own home and wanted it done right. Some contractors cut corners which can leave you with rework or a sub optimal final product, I think Bill takes the opposite approach of work ethic and wants to leave you with the absolute best product you can get. My only complaint is this team only does HVAC it would be an excellent world if they did other contracting work as well. Thanks again for such a great job.

Central Washington installed a 4-head ductless mini split heat pump system in our place north of Plain, with work completed in September 2023. If it were possible, would give a 4 1/2 rating. Recommend them and would use again. Jason was great to work with designing the system and being flexible about ideas for siting the compressor and heads. They use top quality Daikin components - which thus far are working well with excellent options for controlling the heads - better than the Mitsubishi controllers we have at another place. The install crew was thoughtful about taking the initial plans and adapting as needed (e.g., where to locate lines and heads). In general, the install went well - except for one head that was not sited high enough, and was mounted out of square with gaps in the line covers (this was later redone to our satisfaction, but is why 4.5 vs. 5.0 rating). Crew was neat and left everything in good shape at end of job. Price was competitive with two other bids. Scheduling was easy and crew came on time.
