Fast efficient service. We needed a new boiler/hot water Combi unit. Ben Franklin was able to get and install next after initial service came out. Vinny was very polite and professional. Explained all options for repairs and went over all the work after it was completed. Made sure to put down tarps to keep our carpets clean and cleaned up very well after. Great job.

Elliot Sewage from the main sewer drain pipe, located in the crawl space in my home, had been backing up onto my basement floor due to a pipe blockage. During a cleaning of my sewer main pipe by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to unblock the pipe, BFP discovered that the sewer main drain pipe in my home had been damaged about 3 years ago by Eversource Gas when they performed work on the gas lines under the asphalt of the street in front of my home. A poor quality fitting, installed by Eversource on the end of the sewer drain pipe from my home, failed causing separation and misalignment of my home's sewer main pipe under the street asphalt. Junior, the excavator leading the job from BFP, contacted my town Sewer Inspector and Eversource Gas as he felt this blockage was caused by the work performed by Eversource a few years prior. They all met the following morning, acknowledged the damage and, under the close supervision from Junior, replaced the faulty fitting using the higher quality fitting supplied by BFP. The recommendation from BFP was to replace the whole sewer main pipe leading from my home to the street. This was a large job and expense that would not have had to happen if Eversource had not caused the blockage due to the use of that faulty fitting. I went ahead and had the pipe replaced. The final cost for the cleaning, diagnosis and repair cost roughly $27000. With the invaluable help from Eric Benoit, the sales estimator from BFP, we had conversations with Eversource Gas, their contractors and eventually their insurance company and I have been completely reimbursed for this job which cost me roughly $27,000. I recently retired this year so this was truly a Blessing to get reimbursed for this unexpected expense. I can't say enough about Junior and Eric. Junior wrote summaries of what he found and how it caused the damage to my home. I had no idea I could possibly get reimbursed for this job until he told me so. Eric participated in various group phone meetings reiterating the damage caused by Eversource Gas and provided video footage and photos to the insurance company. Eric always made himself accessible and responded with whatever I needed to help me get this reimbursement. The guidance and help from these gentlemen was essential and invaluable. Even the insurance estimator commented that the customer service from BFP seemed to be exceptional after hearing what Eric had to say during our group phone conversation. They definitely had my back and I will forever be grateful.

Kenneth We discovered several days ago that we have a small leak in the drain pipe from a toilet, and although we had used Benjamin Franklin in the past with positive results, we foolishly decided to experiment with another plumber (one with lots of commercials). It took that OTHER company a couple of days to get back to us, and gave us an appointment 2 days later. Then that other company's plumber was several hours late. While waiting for him to show up I started reading their reviews and complaints, so was concerned before they even showed up. That other company gave us an estimate that sounded really high for the work, and since was a not an emergency, I told that other company I wanted to get a second opinion. We immediately called Benjamin Franklin. By then it was late in the afternoon, and they promised to send a technician first thing the next morning. Prior to his arrival we received a text from Benjamin Franklin advising that Devan M was on the way, and included his photograph. I think that is a brilliant idea! That way customers know exactly who should be showing up. His estimate was several hundred dollars less than the prior estimate, and we felt it was more in line with what we expected. Furthermore, he did warn us of "worst case scenarios" that could have increased the bill, so we would not be blindsided if a worst case scenario happened (it didn't but this is an old house so we got lucky). A situation did arise requiring a second technician to assist, and the company sent us that fellow's photo as well - Christopher B. The bill was exactly what the estimate stated as our best case scenario. Both Devan and Chris were professional and pleasant. Devan showed up EXACTLY as promised - the slogan "the Punctual Plumber" is absolutely accurate, not puffery. They completely cleaned up after themselves - can't even tell they were here. We would recommend them to anyone.
Michael The Technician- Pawel, was such a great gentleman. Very kind and he explained every thing he fixed for me or replaced. These problems I had with the water tank, the water pump and the sink drain has been a problem for the last 3 years. ( My husband, which just passed away this pass March) every time I would complain about the problems we've been having he would say he'd get to it but because of his heart problem he never had the energy to do it. It was a man thing about hiring someone else to do his work. Now that everything is fixed I feel a lot better at night knowing that the water pump isn't running for 8 hours and not shuting off. Thank Pawel for me for doing an outstanding job.

Prompt, Courteous and Professional They immediately spoke with me and scheduled an appointment to evaluate my problem with the toilet not functioning properly. They used a camera in my drain lines, at my request and actually found the problem in my roof vent. After not getting any response from others that I called, and still no call after a week and a half from the others, I will be giving Benjamin Franklin my business. Customer Service is awesome!!!
